This is one of the posters for my first solo show of 2013../../ I do hope you can make it../
Ok,… . /. So i can now confirm that my new solo show ‘Just Because Things Break Doesn’t Mean They’re Broken’ will open on 15th of April 2013.. .. /. In conjunction with The Painting Pottery Cafe, Brighton.. /. It will run for three weeks and the reason i’m really very excited about this show is that it gives you the viewer an opportunity to get some free art and even take a part in creating your own.. .. .//.
I will be taking all of the broken pottery and plates and breaking them even further and then painting them to be given away to unsuspecting finders. I will be scattering them across the streets of Brighton, And the deal is those who find the pieces get to keep them, but i urge those finders to bring them to the opening of the show to try and reassemble all of the broken pieces into one whole piece of interactive art…/ . // I will be running a trial on the 4th February by dropping a large hand full of fragments in the center of Brighton, with the hope that they will be reassembled on the 7th at Brighton Uni (grande parade) in the court yard. So for those Brightonian followers keep your eyes peeled and watch this space for more details.. . .. /./
‘New Shoes’ Acrylic and Posca on Plywood and Hardboard 39 cm x 26 cm
Today in Brighton and im sure the best part of England it is snowing and is set to continue… .. ./ so while you get to escape the bitterness of the cold don’t forget to spare a thought and maybe even some food for the creatures with whom you share this world .. /./ they are so often brushed aside../.
‘Pecking At The Side Lines’ Acrylic and recycled canvas frame and plywood 80 cm x 30 cm
This has to be the most simple painting i’ve ever done ,.. .. /. but i do feel its one of the most effective too.. . . //.
‘I’ve Had It Up To Here With Those Bastards’ Acrylic on Hardboard 57 cm x 77 cm
