Another one bites the dust!.. . . .. . .. .. . . A few weeks back i was asked if i could paint a portrait of Patrick Bateman with mouths for eyes, What took so long was waiting to find a suitable piece of wood to paint this psychopath on to. But last week i dragged this incredible piece of Chipboard out of a skip and got going. I’ve never painted chip board before and i think it could become a new favourite surface.. . . .. / . / .

As a painter who’s main work steers away from painting faces and giving the characters identities i do seem to be getting an awful lot of requests to do portraits and faces.. . .. .. / . / .
