It’s getting closer and closer.. . /. /. Little One.. . /

This year me and my very good friend Leopold West started writing a short film. Initially intended as a 3min short for a competition about the idea of “boss” it quickly snow balled into a much bigger monster, Thankfully the competition was abandoned and so we were free to take as long as we wanted and to do what we wanted.. .. just the way i like it.  We decided to stick with the premise of “boss” as we’d already had more than half the script down. Most of the filming was completed around spring but then a wave of chaos crashed into our tiny little world and we were forced to put the unfinished film on the back burner. At the end of this summer we managed to find a place and time to meet up and get the final shot. With this most important of shots successfully completed it gave a new burst of life and activity to the project… /. /. with Myself in Brighton ,Leopold in Southampton and our very talented sound engineer Joe Gilder at Boneyard audio in Guildford its a wonder this film has made it out at all.. . But it has.. ./.  well nearly//. . with only a few more tweaks to add I am very pleased to be a part of this project and can’t wait to release the finished product.. . ///. In the mean time here is the trailer .. .. …/ . Enjoy Little One

Everything Changes. . . ../. /.

I have a new solo show opening this weekend at the Lewis Elton Gallery, Guildford.. . . . .. There will be live art, new illustrations, new original paintings, and an original score composed especially for the show by Joe Guilder at Boneyard Audio… /. /./. I do hope to see you there. . . /./.

‘In this space, watch the works evolve and mutate in an explosive way, leaking on to the walls and extending its reach into new grounds as Jakob performs his own brand of live art works to soundscapes and music composed specially for the exhibition by Joe Gilder. Using found canvases of wood, and other abandoned materials, Jakob creates an organic outlook on modern society in this personal and though provoking exhibition.

Watch the gallery space transform into a canvas as Jakob performs live art on its walls throughout the day.’

Appologies…  /.  /. I have been without internet and a phone for a week or so now so hence the lack of posts .. . .. but not to worry i will reward your patience with an Epic!! It has been so incredibly hard to keep this secret.. but luckily the lack of net made the last week incredibly easy to hide it.. . As you know if you keep an eye on this space i had started a self indulgent epic made of over forty pieces of wood.. . the concept was hush hush.. . ././. But at last here it is make of it what you will.. . ……  . /./ / .

A big thanks to ‘Wizard Sleeve’ for putting on a sick multimedia party in Guildford last night, I tend not to go out to parties because id rather get something else done and not have to deal with people. But last night was a rare exception, and when i arrived i noticed two huge boards suspiciously placed just asking to be painted on, I asked about and despite no one having a clue who i was or if i was even any good they donated one of the boards to me and luckily i had paint in my bag but only one paint brush. Without an idea and having never painted live for people before i went ahead using my hands, my single brush and one pot of black enamel, Here’s what came out .. .. … .. . . ..  Also another thanks to ‘NUKOF’ For lending me some blue spray.. .. .. . . / .
