I am still in limbo.. . … .. Finding a house has been harder than anticipated and so i am still without studio. I did hope that this time away from paint would result in another leap, so i was trying not to paint, even small bits.. . .. …. . saving what ever built up in that time to explode onto another self indulgent epic . .. , but four weeks is more than enough. Its going to be another four weeks until i can get my studio up and running again. So i had to bite the bullet and make do with what ever i could find.. .. . and what did i find? Well annoyingly canvas, canvas that had already been painted on. So i took the hand i was dealt and transformed the already existing paintings into Belbin’s.. .. .. It felt good to paint again but i seriously cannot wait to start on some real work.. . … /././..

While clearing out my studio i found some old canvases.. . . .really old canvases! I haven’t painted on canvas for a few years now but was at a lost as to what to do with them, i certainly didn’t want to keep the atrocities that had gone before but i also didn’t want to waste such good resources. i left it for a couple of days then it hit me, chop off all the canvas and use the wooden frames to create boxed frames…. . . here it is so far. . . . The old paintings are now gone forever. . … . ./. . unseen.. ./// ./

I have been so busy recently concentrating on work that i actually might be able to sell that it has been quite a considerable amount of time since i last took on another ridiculous self indulgent project. Well today i set about rectifying that by starting what is (since the last time) set to be my most ambitious painting to date.
