Trust me i have been extremely busy in the studio. . . ./. I have over 20 new paintings to be released but i don’t have a decent enough camera to do them any justice… . /.//. This is so frustrating .. .. /.
Canvas?.. . . .I Hate Canvas!!. . . /./.
I am still in limbo.. . … .. Finding a house has been harder than anticipated and so i am still without studio. I did hope that this time away from paint would result in another leap, so i was trying not to paint, even small bits.. . .. …. . saving what ever built up in that time to explode onto another self indulgent epic . .. , but four weeks is more than enough. Its going to be another four weeks until i can get my studio up and running again. So i had to bite the bullet and make do with what ever i could find.. .. . and what did i find? Well annoyingly canvas, canvas that had already been painted on. So i took the hand i was dealt and transformed the already existing paintings into Belbin’s.. .. .. It felt good to paint again but i seriously cannot wait to start on some real work.. . … /././..

I’ve got a lot on my plate this month preparing for my third solo show at the Jewry St. Gallery, Winchester (starting 16th Feb) building frames and adding finishing touches to the pieces on show. Not that I’ve fully decided which pieces will be on show… . .
At the same time I’ve got more preparation for the ‘Retracing the Unsinkable’ exhibition this march in Southampton, and for the ‘Celebrating Life’ exhibition in Winchester. As well as that I’ve still got to keep myself occupied painting new pieces for who knows when so i don’t loose my mind. . .. .. . /. all is well in the studio of Belbin.. . .. . . / . / . /.. // .
